Introducing the 2023 North Melbourne Indigenous guernsey, titled “Connecting through Identity,” created by artist Emma Bamblett. The front features an oval with the Aboriginal flag in the center, representing the players’ identity and their journey to the field. Water, a unifying element, flows throughout the front. The back showcases each player’s totem and kinship Country. The bottom pays respect to the Wurundjeri People. This artwork symbolizes unity, respect, and pride in heritage.
